Saw the Doc and he agreed with the Hospital report saying that it was not heart related but asbestosis was getting thicker on the lung linings.
It will not get any better, here's hoping that it takes a bloody long time to get me.
I am only taking small breathes now to try and make breathing easier on the lings so I don't get those pains again, so far so good.

Yep .. no matter what they say shallow slow breathing is the best for crook lungs. Works for me anyway and has since 1965!
Luckily found prednislone 5mg some 25 years ago. Has worked for me since. Major downside is it makes your bones crook. Went on fosamax and now have bones better than most for my age. Anyway .. just sayin'.
Hang in Demo - tell the asbestosis to simply stay calm or fuck off!!

Joe,
I have just been for my second Covid shot and my blood pressure was 90/70 and blood sats 84.
I will have to go to my doc and get some oxygen to try and boast that up to 95 where it should be. I am not eligible to have oxygen at home yet.
My back is giving me hell lately since my slipped disc, will have to look for a Kidney Belt.
My Sister was on Fosamax and she finished up with splinters in her Femur in both legs. She now has a metal plate inserted in both legs. Be careful.
Otherwise all is good here.

Have found a Kidney Belt that should arrive here on the 26th August. Hopefully it will help in reliving the pain somewhat. Am due to see the doc this afternoon.

Hope it went well. I'm off to see my GP at 10.00am today. Have to let him know DVA have finally decided I am now on EDA (Extremely Disability Adjustment) - same as TPI. No surprise as they agreed I have 16 severe applicable conditions and that puts me well over the required amount.
I really do hope your Doc can assist you mate .. pain ain't much fun.

I am EDA as well Joe. Not quite the same payment as TPI but a definite help. I have been EDA for the last year now. I have to see my doc as my blood sats are to low.

Joe,
Still here buddy, blood sats are better, I had some oxygen to help. They are still sitting in the low 90's. but better than 84.
Yeh the pain is about the same but I am dealing with it as you say, It still hurts like hell whenever I breath deep, sneeze, cough etc. I suppose i will just have to live with it.
