Demo , its not that nobody cares about you , its just that no-one knows what to say. There are the usual meaningless platitudes but until you have been there it doesnt resonate. . I personally hope you can get relief and be with us for many years to come as you are part of a unique group of people joined by the " circus " oops I meant " service ". Hang in as best you can.

Re: The Black Dog
I had my 5 year old son sitting on my lap last night in front of the computer. He asked me what was wrong, why was I so sad.
I then found it fucking very difficult to try and tell his what was thinking.
He then gave me a big KISS and told me he LOVED me, tears immediately started to run down my cheeks and then I knew that I could not hurt him any more.
He was the turning point in me and I will be around for a while to see him grow.
Thank you for all that offered support and believed in me myself as me, for being a human being.
I still have the fucking demons in my head but with the continued support of you guys I think I should be able to make it OK.
I previously asked my wife a couple of times why she got married and the reply was " To give my Son financial support" Not one word about love.
Maybe in time, who knows?

Thank God! Out of the mouth of babes comes love and hope. Demo, I have despaired as to how I could possibly help but I thought anything I said would be inadequate. Give your 5 year old son a hug
from me because he has said and achieved more than I, with 70+ more years experience, was able to muster.
The world is the pearl in our oyster and our kids are our being and our future.

Hooray Demo
Welcome back!

Called the local Vets Assoc today. The bloke I need was not in. Explained the problem. They will have a look and see what can be done.
In the meantine tell those demons that there are whole lot of blokes out and about that are ready to take 'em on.
Maybe let your wife know the reason you are with her and the sacrifices you both have had to make to produce provide and bring up your beautiful boy.
Good luck and stay active on The Gun Plot. I am sure there is a funny story you can share about your boy.......

Re: The Black Dog
Hi,
Since that night when my son sat on my lap and told me he LOVED me I am feeling better.
when I looked into his eyes all I saw was nothing but admiration and as he said LOVE for me. I honestly cried when he told me, as you say, out of the mouth of babes.
I could not and will not leave him behind any more since he said that to me.
Thank all who did respond but it took him to bring me back to life

Re: The Black Dog
clarky50,
Still going mate, thanks for checking up on me.
Christmas was so so, not the same as usually.
My sons' face lit up when he saw his present, it was what he wrote in his letter to Santa that he wanted.
Still having strange thoughts but will gradually overcome them, I hope.
Have not been any where as I am not up to visiting people yet. Besides that there is the Covid-19 virus.
