Neuoraphy

Post by Joe » Wed Dec 11, 2019 11:51 pm

Had 4 injections in the nerves in the lower spine area today. Bloody painful!
Have periphial (or poly because many areas) neuoraphy. Loss of feeling, numbness, tingling, spasmodic cramps in the feet legs hands and arms. Did I mention pain? ... hahaha yeah pain.
No cure so treatment is to try and reduce pain especially at night.
Major causes for me : alcoholism and toxin exposure/ingestion to lead and arsenic amongst other things.
Question without notice :
? Do you or anyone you know suffer from this complaint and if so what treatment is/was used and how was the problem caused??

Try Magnesium oil, rub into area every day, also magnesium tablets may help, the wife suffers due to type 2 diabetes, also has restless leg syndrome, takes a drug call siffarol for it , it is used in Parkinson treatment also. Lyrica helps but has some side effects.

Thanks clarky50. Threw the Lyrica away last year. Had both hips replaced (14 weeks in hospital for left then 4 days for right!) and came out of hospital on it. Went from XL to XXXL in 2.5 months.
Am gradually trimming down but doubt I'll ever see XL again.
Salvos are pretty happy with the clothes donations so far.
Will have a look at what your wife takes. Pass on my best wishes to her. If you ain't got it then its hard to relate to the pain levels. Chookas.
