TS Sirius, Australian Navy Cadets, will hold a Mess Dinner on Sat 23 Oct 10 at Kingsgrove RSL (Sydney) to commemorate the BATTLE OF LEYTE GULF 1944, and also to celebrate 65 years as a Navy Cadet Unit. We would be honoured to have any RAN or RANVR veterans associated with this campaign join us on the night. Consideration is being given to a reunion of those crew members of AIR NYMPH and AIR SPRITE who were involved in the rescue operations on the night of the MELBOURNE/VOYAGER collision. A crew member from VOYAGER that night, who was picked up by AIR NYMPH, is considering having a reunion of those survivors picked up by the SARs and the SAR crews.
