The Ship Inn Bar

One of the quieter bars in 'The Strip'. Johnny Horton and Marty Robbins got a fair workout in here. The Ship Inn had undoubtably the best heads of any bar in the Wang and even supplied paper. A handy place to drink if one was suffering from a bout of acute diahorrea.

The Golden Hind Bar


Another of the quiet bars in the Wang. Again here the toilets were kept in good nick. The Ship Inn and Golden Hind Bars both used to open relativley early in the day and one could usually get lunch. These two bars would open earlier than the others but of course it all depended on how many ships were alongside in the basin at the time. The Remainder of the bars would open around 1600.
