Whenever a sailor received a 'Back Job' such as this in Pinky's Tattoo Parlour in Lockhart Road Wanchai, Hong Kong, Pinky himself would immortalise you by taking a photograph and pinning it to his wall along with thousands of others in his gallery. He would also be kind enough to give you a copy as well. This was taken whilst on deployment in 1972 (HMAS Stuart) after a session with him.

POUW Bob 'Boing Boing' Spring and Myself having a little joke - Whaling in the North West Indian Ocean - HMAS Brisbane 1981. The Buffer CPOQMG Billy Waldock was not amused. As it turned out the photograph appeared in many magazines and newspapers around Australia.
