About The Centre

The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre is an interactive museum, research and information centre dedicated to presenting the story of the Thailand-Burma Railway. The railway ran from Nong Pladuk in Thailand to Thanbuyuzayat in Burma and was built by the Imperial Japanese Army during Word War II. The centre is air conditioned and offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.
