The Mark 45 gun provides our new Anzac
Class surface units with accurate gunfire against fast, highly maneuverable
surface, air and shore targets.
The gun is lightweight and is reliable
and easily maintained.
It is controlled by the 9LV 453 J Band
Tracker, 9LV 453 optronic Director. It is fully automatic capable
of firing 16-20 rounds per minute. Range - 13 nautical miles. Magazine
capacity - 475-500 rounds
